The eco-warehouse directory was successfully launched in December 2008; and currently has in excess of 150 members offering sustainable building products and services.

The on-line shop is now available for suppliers to directly offer their products and services to members of the public.

Eco Warehouse is a newly launched website providing a “one stop shop” for anyone in need of environmentally friendly, sustainable, building services or materials.

Using sustainable practices and products can
make it possible to produce buildings which are cheaper to maintain; helping you or  your clients tackle rising utility and oil costs.


The website is a useful access tool for the general public, building contractors and construction companies as alongside listings for suppliers, detailed advice will be provided for anyone seeking to lower their carbon footprint and make their home or buildings more energy efficient.

Eco Warehouse also presents a useful marketing opportunity for suppliers of recycled or sustainable products and services. The benefits of Eco Warehouse include free product listings on the site, with the chance to include company logos and products on the online store for a small fee.  It offers suppliers the chance to market their company through a government supported website, increasing online exposure to a growing target market.
By making it easier than ever to find environmentally friendly building materials, contractors and advice; we can promote the building of sustainable homes in Cornwall and beyond.

Background

Eco Warehouse was launched in July 2008. The website was funded by South West Regional Development Agency’s Rural Renaissance Fund and Remade South West.

The project is delivered in partnership with the Sustainable Building Trust, an organisation which aims to promote sustainable building in Cornwall and to minimise the impact of construction on our environment.
